Dear Members,

Welcome to the 2009 Boating Season and the SSBA! Our annual meeting will be held at the Stonington Borough Hall (above the old Fire Department on Church Street) on April 22nd, at 7:00 PM. All members and interested parties are welcome to attend.

Some of the items to be discussed will be:

Election of a Board of Directors.

Discussion of further projects to improve the facility.

All Member Work Parties:

      1) Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30 PM, rain date May 20th.
      2) Tuesday, June 3rd at 5:30 PM, rain date June 10th.
      3) Wednesday, November 4th at 4:00 PM, rain date November 6th.

The SSBA is an organization of volunteers who are dedicated to maintaining and upgrading small boat access to the harbor. Please indicate in which functions you would be willing to serve on the reverse side of the application form. If you have a boat stored on a ground space, you must have it stored on a dolly (your own, not SSBA's) to facilitate lawn mowing and maintenance of the landing area. No application for ground storage will be accepted for a boat without a dolly, and boats found without a dolly will be disposed of. Also, we do not recommend storing kayaks out of season at SSBA.

Current members wishing to renew must have their applications to SSBA by May 1st, 2009. After that, all non-renewed spaces will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. NO PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CURRENT MEMBERS AFTER THE MAY 1st DEADLINE! DON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! SEND IN YOUR APPLICATION EARLY!

Stickers should be attached to boats by June 3rd. Please keep your boat in its assigned space. If a problem occurs, contact SSBA.
